Big Brother Alums Jeff Schroeder, Jordan Lloyd Engaged: Proposal Photo

The show's motto is "expect the unexpected" after all! Big Brother alum Jeff Schroeder finally popped the question to Jordan Lloyd on Friday, Sept. 5 — in front of the current house guests!

"Why are the live feeds off….Maybe cause of this….SHE SAID YES!" Schroeder captioned a picture via Twitter. "Thank you sooo much @CBSBigBrother @CBSi #bb16." The reality star got down on bended knee and held Lloyd's hand in the backyard. The soon-to-be spouses were surrounded by the season 16 cast and their closest family and friends.

"I'm engaged!!!!!" Lloyd tweeted at the time. "Celebrating our engagement," she added, alongside a picture of her longtime love out to dinner. (Big Brother host Julie Chen hinted to viewers this week that the couple would be returning to the CBS lot for a special surprise.)

Schroeder and Lloyd — considered by fans to have the best BB showmance of all time — first met and fell in love on Big Brother 11 in 2009. They both competed again in season 13 as part of a duos twist.

The reality competition has helped contestants in the love department before. Season 12 stars Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas walked down the aisle in September 2012.
